Accessibility
  • What is accessibility and why does it matter?
To be accessible, a website must be as easy to use and understand for as many visitors as possible, including people with disabilities. Many internet users with disabilities find websites difficult to use simply because of the way they are designed.

  • How accessible is this website?
This website has been designed to be as accessible as possible and to be compatible with tools used by people with disabilities to access websites, such as screen readers. We are committed to making our website highly accessible and work continually to improve it.

This website complies with the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C's) Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) Level 1 guidelines for accessibility. You can read more about W3C’s WAI here: http://www.w3.org/WAI/.

  • Can I change font sizes and the colours of the website?
Yes. This may be useful for you if you have low vision, and need larger fonts or high contrast colours. You can change the font size, style and colour, and choose an alternative colour for links. You can also change background and foreground colours.

These settings are controlled by the Accessibility settings of your web browser.

  • How can I access the Accessibility settings of my web browser?
Web browsers now include many accessibility controls and features including zoom funcitonality, as well as supporting plug-in software such as screen readers. For the latest information on the accessibility features of your browser, please follow the appropriate link below:
